Pakistan Win By Six Wickets| PAK vs SL Highlights of ICC Cricket World Cup 2023: Mohammad Rizwan, Abdullah Shafique Lead Charge As Pakistan Seal Memorable Victory

That's It! Pakistan complete a stunning chase of 345 and no praises are enough for Mohammad Rizwan. Stays unbeaten on 134 at the end. Credit also goes to Abdullah Shafique who set up the chase initially. Things didn't look good for Pakistan initially but massive recovery from them. This will be extremely confidence boosting for Pakistan going forward. 

Out! Saud Shakeel tries to go inside out put fails to reach the pitch and miscues the shot losing his wicket to Maheesh Theekshana. Important breakthrough for India to have at any chance at all. 

Century! Third ODI ton for Mohammad Rizwan's career and it has come at a very very important time. He is keeping Pakistan alive and in control of the chase. On the way he scores his hundred in 97 deliveries while suffering through cramps. Will definitely want to stay till the end and finish the game. 

Out! Abdullah Shafique can't believe himself. Just completed his maiden ton and was looking to build on it. Timed the guided shot to perfection but it was just a little elevated and Dushan Hemantha jumped to his right to grab an absolute stunner. Sri Lanka back in the game. 

Century! Abdullah Shafique brings up his maiden century in style and what a knock it has been from the youngster. Played exceptionally well against both pace and spin and reached his milestone in just 97 deliveries in a very dominating fashion. 

Mr. Consistent Mohammad Rizwan steps up again. He reaches his fifty with a boundary and once again ensures that all is not lost till he is at the crease. After consolidating initially, he takes the attack to the Sri Lankan batters. A lot of work still to do. 

Despite getting pushed behind in the game early, Mohammad Rizwan and Abdullah Shafique stitched a steady partnership scoring at a brisk pace to make a mini-recovery and recover some lost ground. They have build a foundation to go big in the last twenty overs which remain the bigger challenge. 

After the early setbacks, Mohammad Rizwan and Abdullah Shafique have tried to consolidate the innings. Their partnership has been cautious but steady. Very soon, they will have to start looking to accelerate and bring the asking rate under control. 

Out! Babar Azam Dismissed! Dilshan Madushanka gets his second strangling Babar Azam down the leg. Gets a little tickle and Sadeera Samarawickrama does no mistake. Pakistan in big trouble now.

That's It! Dunith Wellalage picks out the deep extra cover fielder and that bring the curtains down on Sri Lankan innings which has been nothing short of brilliant for most of it. They did lose some steam at the death and Pakistan made a mini-comeback through Hasan Ali who picked a four-wicket haul. This will be a challenging total for Pakistan to get. 

Out! Finally Sadeera Samarawickrama falls to Hasan Ali. Change of pace works for Hasan. Dasun Shanaka and Samarawickrama both fail to finish the innings but Sri Lanka will be still looking to use their remaining batting deserves and try to reach the 350 mark. 

Hundred from Sadeera Samarawickrama. Second for the day. He has batted with full authority and shown a great range against pace and spin to achieve the feat despite not being as explosive as Kusal Mendis. Reaches the tom in 82 deliveries. He will look to give a strong finish to the innings for Sri Lanka. 

Out! Dhananjaya de Silva falls to Mohammad Nawaz and a bit of relief for Pakistan amidst the extreme carnage it has been from Sri Lanka. Sadeera Samarawickrama still in the crease and with more batting to come in Dasun Shanaka and Dunith Wellalage, Sri Lanka will look to get an explosive finish.  

Sadeera Samarawickrama is leading the charge for Sri Lanka after completing his half-century. He has Dhananjaya de Silva at the other end and the two will look to keep scoring at this pace and take Sri Lanka to a strong total. 

OUT! Hassan Ali has struck twice in a couple of overs! First, he has removed Kusal Mendis who was looking so so good on this track and next up, Charith Asalanka fell victim to him. Century! Kusal Mendis has scored the fastest century for Sri Lanka in Cricket World Cups off only 65 balls! The right-hander has been in terrific form ever since the first match and now has absolutely demolished Pakistan's bowling attack. Pakistan need a wicket big time! 

Kusal Mendis is continuing the carnage in Hyderabad alongside Sadeera Samarawickrama with the two picking Pakistan's bowling apart. This is looking very bad for Pakistan who need a wicket at this point in time to pull this game back. Or else we might be in for a big big score here.
