Salman Ali Agha scored 63 runs and formed partnerships with Saud Shakeel and Sajid Khan to put a challenging total on the board. Sajid Khan, who picked up seven wickets in England's first inning gave his side break-though yet again. The England side that was dominant in the 1st Test looked helpless in the 2nd Test on the same ground. The match is still evenly matched with England needing 261 runs in 180 overs, while Pakistan needing eight wickets to win their first match under Shan Masood's captaincy.

Pakistan are already 1-0 down in the three-match series and is going through a rough patch in international cricket. The Shan Masood led side has struggled to win matches at home and they will look to end the losing streak by defeating England. However, with Jamie Smith and Brydon Carse at the cease, the English players will look to surpass Pakistan's first innings score and take a lead as soon as possible.
