Stumps and That's It for the Day! Pakistan started the day strongly finishing with a decent total of 366 but England started on a positive note with Ben Duckett scoring a century. When things looked to be a repeat of the first Test, Sajid Khan came into play and he dismissed Ollie Pope, Joe Root, Duckett and Harry Brook quickly to keep Pakistan alive in the game. Interesting Day 3 ahead.
Out! England are falling apart like a pack of cards here. In certain conditions, Joe Root is the most important wicket for England and it was visible once again. This time it is Noman Ali who dismissed Ben Stokes. Stokes stays back to defend a fullish ball. It spins, takes the inside edge, deflects onto the pad and pops up in the air. Abdullah Shafique dives to complete the catch. Stokes c Shafique b Noman Ali 1(5).
Out! Sajid Khan is unstoppable. Joe Root's wicket was indicative that Pakistan have the momentum on their side and utilising it, Sajid khan has scalped two wickets in the same over. This time it is the last game's triple centurion Harry Brook. Sharp spin from a good length outside off, Brook goes back in his crease to punch against the spin and the ball makes way to crash into his stumps. Harry Brook b Sajid Khan 9(9).
Out! Sajid Khan is on a role here. Immediately after dismissing Joe Root, he gets the big wicket of centurion Ben Duckett. Duckett goes hard on the drive and gets a thick outside edge and Agha Salman grabs a good catch in the slips. Pakistan are sniffing blood here. Duckett c Salman b Sajid Khan 114(129).
Out! Huge wicket for Pakistan and Sajid Khan strikes again. Joe Root tries to sweep it away and gets a bottom edge that deflects onto his boot before rolling onto the stumps. Pakistan will look to clean England's middle order as soon as possible. Root b Sajid Khan 34(54).
Century! Ben Duckett was stuck in the 90s for a long time and was getting a little fidgety but he has finally got the hold of one of the balls and reached the milestone. Duckett has been a key piece for the England team under Brendon McCullum and he has proved it once again. England set for a big total and so is Ben Duckett.
Out! Finally Pakistan have a breakthrough amid the rampage of England batters. Pope tries to lean forward to drive the ball from Sajid Khan through the covers but the ball does enough to clean him up. Pakistan will look to contain England's scoring rate from here on. Ollie Pope b Sajid Khan 29(37).
Tea on Day 2! England are scoring at a run rate of more than five. Despite the fall of Zak Crawley's wicket, Pakistan bowlers have not done much to trouble the batters of England and Ben Duckett has played a crucial role in the dominating proceedings. He has completed his half-century now and will look to go big.
OUT! England are now one down as Noman Ali sends back Zak Crawley to the dressing room. England were scoring at a good rate but Zak Crawley mistimed his shot and handed the catch straight away to the keeper. Zak Crawley c Mohammad Rizwan b Noman Ali 27 (36)
England have come to bat now. The visitors will be avoiding to give away early wickets to Pakistan. Zak Crawley and Ben Duckett have been in good touch as we saw in the 1st PAK vs ENG Test. It will be interesting to see how they keep the innings rolling.
