Agha Salman and Aamir Jamal are finally able to delay the inevitable. They have struck a decent partnership taking Pakistan out of the deep trouble they were in. Although things are still gloom and Pakistan will still need a miracle to save the Test match. They will hope Salman and Jamal can survive the entire Day 5 and just do enough to save the Test match for them. 

After the initial collapse of the Pakistan cricket team, when it seemed like the match can end by the Day 4 only, Agha Salman and Aamir Jamal has fought back a little, stitching a short partnership. They will look to play out the day and prepare better for the final and fifth day accordingly. 

Out! Another huge blow for Pakistan. As it seemed like Saud Shakeel and Agha Salman's blockathon will save Pakistan from the embarassment, Shakeel falls to Jack Leach. The ball was pitched outside off, skidded through off the pitch and takes a faint nick to the keeper as Shakeel looked to force it away through cover off the back foot. Out! Oh what is happening to Pakistan here? Brydon Carse bowls Mohammad Rizwan this time and Pakistan enter the last of their batting carse with a mammoth task infront of them. Back of a length delivery, pounded into the pitch and the ball does not bounce as much as Rizwan expected. He remained stuck to the crase and got cleaned up. Rizwan b Brydon Carse 10(19).

Pakistan has suffered an early collapse with their top 4 now being dismissed. With majority of the final session and a whole day left in the Test match, they will have to think session by session and put maximum value on their wickets. Mohammad Rizwan and Saud Shakeel has focused on doing that in the initial part of the innings but they have a steep task in hand. 

Out! Pakistan are coming down like a pack of cards. Saim Ayub undergoes a brainfade. Under pressure, Ayub wanted to play a flamboyant shot over mid-off, miscued it and Ben Duckett gladly accepted an easy catch. Pakistan in deep deep trouble now. Saim Ayub c Duckett b Brydon Carse 25(35).

Out! Babar Azam falls. Things are getting more and more worrying for Pakistan as they have lost Babar very early in the third session of Day 4 while still behind by 226 runs.  Gus Atkinson bowls a length delivery in the channel, just a hint of away nibble, Babar has a tentative poke and Jamie Smith accepts a simple catch. Out! Body blow for Pakistan as their captain is gone. Pakistan's objective was to not lose any wicket in the evening session but they have lost their captain early. The ball stuck a little on the pitch as Masood got a leading edge which lobbed to short mid-wicket. Pakistan in trouble now as their middle order is put to Test. Masood c Crawley b Atkinson 11(22).

After a short partnership, Saim Ayub and Shan Masood walk off for the Tea break. Till now everything has went in favour of England and their plan has been going well. The biggest challenge for Pakistan will be to end the evening session unscathed. Masood and co will have a big task in hand. 

Out! Fantastic start for England and Pakistan rocked early in their 2nd innings. Chris Woakes knocks over the stumps of Abdullah Shafique first ball and the hosts are in disbelief. Saim Ayub and captain Shan Masood look to get a steady but cautious start as a slip up could land them in trouble. Shafique b Woakes 0(1).

England National Cricket Team has finally declared the innings after almost two long days. Harry Brook scored an impeccable triple-century. Joe Root also played a splendid innings. Pakistan players go back to the dressing room with a tired looks on their faces.

OUT! It is another wicket down in quick succession for England as the big fish Harry Brook departs. Saim Ayub bowled a fuller delivery and Harry Brook hits it straight up in the air and was caught by Pakistan skipper Shan Masood. Harry Brook c Shan Masood b Saim Ayub 317 (322)

OUT! It is now Nasheem Shah who strikes for Pakistan as they did not let England build another solid partnership. Jamie Smith got more height than distance in his shot and hence lost his wicket. Jamie Smith c Aamer Jamal b Naseem Shah 31 (24)

Triple Hundred! Harry Brook delivered when it required the most for the England National Cricket Team as he went on to complete his first-ever Triple century in Test cricket. Harry Brook is the sixth England player to score a triple hundred in the longest form of cricket.

OUT! After a long battle, Pakistan have finally managed to take a wicket and it is Joe Root who is walking back to the dressing room after a splendid innings. Joe Root lbw b Salman Ali Agha 264 (291)

Harry Brook and Joe Root are looking to take a more attacking approach after the lunch break. Harry Brook has completed 250 runs and is shifting gears to score the runs with a good strike rate.

Harry Brook (218) and Joe Root (259) are still at the crease, giving the England side a 102-run lead in the first inning. It will be interesting to watch when Ollie Pope declare the inning to make match out of the 'flat pitch'.

200 For Harry Brook! Providing much-needed support to Joe Root, Harry Brook completed his double century in just 245 balls with 18 fours and a six. the pair now formed 279-run partnership. England looking to take game away from the Pakistan side who struggled to score big in the first inning despite great start. 

600 Up for England! After completing his double century, Joe Root has paced up his inning. The England side is in total control of the match right now and the star batter Harry Brook is also looking to complete his double century before the break.
