Another exciting day of cricket comes to an end. Pakistan are still on top but England will think they have regained some control of the match. The visitors are 244 runs ahead heading into the final two days while England need two more wickets to learn the target they will be chasing for a victory. With two more full days of play likely possible, a result is certainly on the cards. 

Stumps on Day 3:  England end the day on a high after taking seven wickets in the final session of play. Pakistan are reeling at 137/8 with Yasir Shah (12) and Mohammad Abbas (0) at the crease. The visitors already have a lead of 244 runs with two more days yet to be played.

Out! Shadab Khan goes now. Stuart Broad gets his second wicket and Pakistan are seven down now with a lead of over 230 runs. Shadab Khan lbw b Broad 15(22) 

Out! Ben Stokes comes to bowl and gets the wicket. Rizwan is the man out and Pakistan are six wickets down. The delivery is an in-nipper from Stokes and he catches Rizwan right in front. Rizwan lbw b Stokes 27(43)

Out! Terrific piece of fielding from Dominic Sibley to run-out Asad Shafiq. Pakistan attempted another quick single but Sibley ensured this time it was England's turn. Shafiq run out (Sibley) 29(43)

Out! Chris Woakes gets his second wicket. Pakistan captain Azhar Ali departs and the visitors are now four down. It was a straight delivery at the pads and Ali failed to get his down in time. It looked absolute plumb. Azhar Ali lbw b Woakes 18(54) 

Out! Ben Stokes grabs it this time. Chris Woakes does the trick for England and dismisses Babar Azam. Joe Root replaced Bess and brought on Woakes and he gives England the breakthrough. Good catch by Stokes at second-slip. Babar Azam c Stokes b Woakes 5(20)

Out! Dom Bess Gets the breakthrough for England. Abid Ali is the batsman that departs. the previous delivery had bounced awkwardly and that prompted a sweep from Abid Ali but he managed to only edge it to Chris Woakes at deep midwicket. Abid Ali c Woakes b Dom Bess 20(46)

Azhar Ali gets off a pair with consecutive boundaries off Stuart Broad. Pakistan begin the third and final session of Day 3 with two boundaries. 

Pakistan lost first-innings centurion Shan Masood for a duck but avoided another wicket at the end of the second session on Day 3. Azhar Ali, who is on a pair, is yet to get off his mark after facing 18 deliveries but Abid Ali at the other end has looked composed and has already hit three boundaries in his 26-ball stay at the crease. Stuart Broad dismissed Masood and his bowling partner James Anderson could have had one wicket as well but Ben Stokes dropped Abid Ali at second slip.

OUT! England gets an early wicket and it's a big one. Centurion from the first innings, Shan Masood gets out for a duck. Stuart Broad gets his man. It wasn't the best of the delivery as it was going past leg stump. However, a curious Masood nicks the balls and Jos Buttler does the rest behind the stumps. S Masood c Buttler b Broad 0(11)

Shan Masood and Abid Ali comes to bat in Pakistan's second innings.  The visitors will target to convert the lead into a substantial target while England bowlers will have to take quick wickets. Meanwhile, James Anderson starts off with a maiden 

Yasir Shah proved to be the biggest nemesis as he took four quick wickets as the decent English tail couldn't contribute much. Shadab Khan supported him well by taking a couple of wickets in the latter part. However, the stage was set by Mohammad Abbas and Shaheen Afridi who ran through England's top order. Abbas was brilliant in particular as he scalp two crucial wickets including Ben Stokes.  Young Naseem Shah impressed two as he got one wicket in his kitty. For England, Ollie Pope batted brilliantly as he scored 62.  

OUT! Things are done and dusted in the second innings as the last England wicket falls. James Anderson failed to connect a reverse sweep as the ball hits his pad and umpire Richard Kettleborough raised his finger. Shadab Khan gets his second wicket as the home side are packed for 219 runs. They are trailing by 107 runs as Pakistan players leave the field with their heads high. Shadab Khan drops a sitter as Stuart Broad gets a lifeline. He mistimes the ball while going for a big shot. However, Shadab couldn't hold on to the catch. Meanwhile, Broad is scoring some quick runs. 

OUT! Shadab Khan gets in the act. Huge appeal for caught behind and the umpire was impressed. Jofra Archer makes his way to the pavilion. The ball clearly missed the way. However, it kissed Archer's gloves for going into Mohammad Rizwan's safe pair of hands. England are nine down now. Jofra Archer c M Rizwan b Shadab Khan 16(33)

OUT! And he does it again. Yasir Shah strikes again. Chris Woakes' resistance finally comes to an end as he goes for 19. The frustrated batsman went for a big shot. However, Shah was spot on as the ball crashes the middle stump. England are eight down now. Chris Woakes b Yasir Shah 19(48)

OUT! Another one bites the dust. Yasir Shah strikes again.  Dominic Bess makes his way to the pavilion. The leggie got some bounce of the deck as the ball nicks Bess gloves' and Asad Shafiq takes a good catch in slips. England are seven down now. Dom Bess c Shafiq b Yasir Shah 1(12)

Just after getting a big wicket, Pakistan have lost a review. An in-swinger from Naseem Shah smashed Chris Woakes' pads. The fielding side was impressed but the umpire wasn't. The review showed that the ball is going past the leg stump. Meanwhile, England are 160/6 in 54 Overs.
