Pakistan started the chase cautiously. Bangladesh seamers-maintained discipline but despite losing three wickets, the batters of the host team kept their calm and Pakistan comfortably got over the winning line riding on half-centuries from Imam-ul-Haq and Mohammad Rizwan. Previously Haris Rauf set the base for the victory with his fiery four-wicket haul.
