Batting first in Mirpur, Pakistan put up a first innings score 300/4 d courtesy of a 76-run knock from Babar Azam and a 56-run innings from Azhar Ali. The hosts while batting first in Chattogram put up a respectable total of 330 runs in their first innings following a century from Litton Das and 91 run knock from Mushfiqur Rahim. Hasan Ali picked up a fifer for Pakistan followed by two-wicket hauls from Shaheen Shah Afridi and Faheem Ashraf respectively. In reply, Pakistan were bowled out for 286 runs in their first innings in which Abid Ali scored a century. Taijul Islam picked up seven wickets and provided the hosts an important lead. However, Bangladesh weren't able to repeat their batting performance and got wrapped up for 157 runs. Bangladesh could only score 233 runs in their first innings during the PAK vs BAN 1st Test match in Rawalpindi as Shaheen Shah Afridi starred with a four-wicket haul. Azhar's double ton was followed by Younis Khan's 148-run knock and Sarfaraz Khan's 107-run innings. Bangladesh were bowled out for 203 runs in their first innings and it was a combined bowling effort by Pakistan. Batting first in Khulna, Bangladesh registered a score of 332 in their first innings. Mominul Haque played an 80-run knock which resulted in a strong batting performance for the hosts. While batting in the first innings, Pakistan registered a score of 628 in their first innings following a double hundred from Mohammad Hafeez. In return, Bangladesh also came up with a strong batting performance and ended their second innings at 555/6 which resulted in the match ending in a draw.
