In reply, Pakistan did not have a good start as they lost Fakhar Zaman in the first over. Pakistan was really struggling when they had Imad Wasim and Shadab Khan on the crease. However, they both controlled the inning and took the partnership near the target. But Pakistan should credit this win to Wahab Riaz who came out to bat in a pressure situation when three wickets were in hand. Riaz smashed a six to Rashid Khan to bring down the tally of 10 runs required from 10 balls. From there onwards, Pakistan played in a composed manner and crossed the line to keep their semi-final hope alive. Now Pak will have to defeat Bangladesh on July 5 at Lord's to enter into semis, provided England lose one of their coming matches against India or New Zealand.
