Watch the Weather Report Video From the Cardiff Ground Below:
Pakistan is coming into this World Cup with problems galore. Though their batting has been beyond par, it is Pakistan's bowling that's giving the team nightmares. This is unusual, considering that Pakistan has always been a strong bowling line-up. However, the last minute inclusion of Mohammad Amir and Wahab Riaz is bound to help their confidence, but questions are being asked of their inclusion in the Pakistani squad.
As far as Bangladesh is concerned, the team is high on confidence after their recent performances against the West Indies and Ireland. The Mashrafe Murtaza led team looks not only strong on paper, but also have the skill and determination required to win games at Cricket's biggest stage. The recent ODI matches between the two teams gives Bangladesh an edge over Pakistan in the 50 overs platform.
Both Pakistan and Bangladesh will look to make an impression in today's match in order to gain psychological advantage before the actual matches. The Cardiff ground is bound to see supporters in large numbers as both Pakistan and Bangladesh have passionate supporters cheering for their teams. Though it's a "practice match", Pakistan need a morale booster as they have suffered 11 back to back loses in ODIs and were also defeated by Afghanistan in the warm-up match. Sarfraz Ahmed and team will look to win in this encounter between the Asian teams, but they have Bangladesh ahead of them, which is also full of confidence and bristling with energy. It surely promises to be a super Sunday match.
