Matthew Wade just did a Michael Hussey. Hussey had done in 2010 and Wade, after being handed a reprieve with Hasan Ali dropping his catch, has hit three sixes to win the game for Australia. He scored 41 runs off just 17 balls and Australia are into their second T20 World Cup semifinal. Pakistan would be gutted. They have been phenomenal all tournament and lost the match, when it mattered the most. They have a lot to be proud of. The Australia vs New Zealand final would mean that we would have a new T20 World Cup winner. What a game! And Australia walk away with the win. That's it from the live blog!

11 Nov, 23:14 (IST)

Wow! What a finish that from Matthew Wade! He has hit Shaheen Shah Afridi for three sixes to finish off the game with an over to spare. Hasan Ali dropped a catch to dismiss Wade and he would be wanting to dig up a hole and hide in it! What a finish this is by Australia! They are in the final against New Zealand.

11 Nov, 23:04 (IST)

An expensive over by Hasan Ali has now brought down the equation to 22 runs off 12 balls. Australia need one or two big hits to believe that they have got this chase in the bag while Pakistan would ideally need a wicket, that of Stoinis. Shaheen Shah Afridi is the bowler. Stoinis on strike.

11 Nov, 22:53 (IST)

50 runs now needed off four overs. Australia need some finish here from Marcus Stoinis and Matthew Wade. This is going to be a very interesting match. Can Stoinis do something like Mike Hussey did against Pakistan in that 2010 T20 World Cup semifinal? Wait and watch!

11 Nov, 22:46 (IST)

Shaheen Shah Afridi has bowled another terrific over. Australia need to get a move on as 62 runs are needed off the last five overs. Pakistan are right in this game and all eyes would be on Marcus Stoinis as he holds Australia's hopes for a win.

11 Nov, 22:41 (IST)

Haris Rauf has followed up with a good over after an expensive first over. The match is slightly tilted in favour of Pakistan at the moment with 68 runs needed off six overs.

11 Nov, 22:35 (IST)

Marcus Stoinis' six seemed to relieve some pressure off the Australians. They need another 74 runs in 42 balls.

11 Nov, 22:33 (IST)

OUT! The pressure of dot balls has yielded one more wicket and Shadab Khan is the man to make a difference! This time, it is Glenn Maxwell who has to depart. The right-hander goes for a big shot and Haris Rauf pouches a good catch.

11 Nov, 22:30 (IST)

Imad Wasim's comeback over yields just three runs as both Maxwell and Stoinis find it tough to get a boundary. Warner's dismissal has really brought Pakistan on top and Australia need either of these two to start attacking.

11 Nov, 22:26 (IST)

Pakistan have once again fought back in this game and have gotten rid of David Warner. He walked right after Rizwan and Shadab Khan appealed but replays did show that there was no edge. With two new batsmen at the crease, Australia would be under the pump.

11 Nov, 22:22 (IST)

OUT! Pakistan have their man and it is the dangerous David Warner who has to depart. A slight nick and Mohammad Rizwan takes a good catch to send the left-hander back. A massive blow for Australia here! Replays did show that there was no connection with the ball! Oh no! It is a huge moment in this game.

11 Nov, 22:18 (IST)

David Warner holds the key for Australia here. He is going great (49 off 29 balls). The good thing for Pakistan is that they are picking up wickets regularly. The Warner-Maxwell partnership is very important for Australia here. We are in for a thriller in Dubai!

11 Nov, 22:12 (IST)

OUT! Shadab Khan has another wicket and this time, he has sent back Steve Smith. Smith, trying to hit a slog-sweep, skied one and Fakhar Zaman took a good catch. Pakistan are taking wickets consistently to dent this run-chase.

11 Nov, 22:07 (IST)

What has happened here! Mohammad Hafeez bowls a ball that bounces twice and Warner hits it for a six!  Australia are banking on Warner to continue in the same manner. 13 runs came off that Hafeez over.

11 Nov, 22:03 (IST)

Steve Smith edges one and with no slip in place, he gets a streaky boundary to get his innings started. Pakistan did manage to get a wicket and they would now hope to get some more to further dent this Australian run-chase.

11 Nov, 22:01 (IST)

OUT! Shadab Khan has brought Pakistan into the game as Mitchell Marsh, attempting a big shot, ended up mistiming a shot and Asif Ali took a good catch. Pakistan have two wickets now and Australia need to rebuild again. A very good catch from Asif Ali!

11 Nov, 21:58 (IST)

Eight runs off that Hasan Ali over and Australia, after a poor start, have managed to keep up with the chase and ended up scoring 52 runs in the first six overs. It has been a great game of cricket so far and Australia would want this partnership between Warner and Marsh to flourish.

11 Nov, 21:53 (IST)

Australia are responding in some style with Mitchell Marsh taking the attack to Haris Rauf. The Warner-Marsh duo scored 14 runs in this over and Australia are getting their rhythm back. Skipper Babar Azam seemed to furious with Imad Wasim failing to stop a four. This game is turning out to be a great one!

11 Nov, 21:48 (IST)

David Warner takes the attack to Imad Wasim and hits him for two fours and one six. He and Marsh scores 17 runs in the fourth over and Australia are aiming to slowly claw back in this chase.

11 Nov, 21:44 (IST)

Mitchell Marsh seems to break the shackles with a four off the front foot against Afridi. But the young quick bowler has ensured that Australia does not get the runs easily. He has been absolutely superb for Pakistan. Australia have three more overs in the powerplay to try and get some quick runs.

Aaron Finch's men have had just one loss in this competition so far and that had come against England in the Super 12 stage. Following that match, they have played really well and their recent form makes them, a difficult opponent for Pakistan to defeat. Fast bowlers Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood, who have been spectacular for Australia, would try and rattle Pakistan's batting led by the brilliance of skipper Azam. Leg-spinner Adam Zampa, who got a five-wicket haul against Bangladesh would also be a threat to Pakistan.

The Men in Green would have to rely on Shaheen Shah Afridi for wickets upfront and also pacer Haris Rauf's speed would be one of their potent weapons in the bowling attack. Pakistan are unbeaten in their last 16 T20Is in the UAE and Australia have won the last four knockout games against the Men in Green. Eleven years ago, Australia defeated Pakistan in an intense T20 World Cup semifinal. Who would win it today? An interesting clash awaits cricket fans in Dubai.
