Not a very competitive as it was expected after the end of first innings. The powerplay looked decent from the view of both sides but Brandon McMullen just picked up things from here and raced off to his half-century also guiding Scotland to a dominating victory. The boosted net run rate of Scotland will give them a solid chance in qualification even if they lose their last game against Australia.
Scotland needed a decent start in the powerplay and they have got it despite losing Michael Jones after a short cameo. Brandon McMullen has come in and tried to settle in. George Munsey on the other hand has took the attack to the Oman bowlers. Scotland will look to build on it and Oman will look for any chance to come back in.
Despite the loss of momentum in the middle through consecutive loss of wickets, Oman fightback in the end and get to a competitive total. Ayaan Khan played a big role as he provided a strong finish to the Oman innings and now they have a total on the board they can look to defend.
