When now-defunct Rising Pune Supergiant removed MS Dhoni as a captain for 2017 edition of Indian Premier League (IPL), franchise owner Sanjeev Goenka’s brother Harsh Goenka hailed the move to appoint Steve Smith as the leader. Something, that didn't go well with Dhoni's fans and since then, Harsh is often trolled mercilessly by the captain cool's' supporters for his “lack of cricketing knowledge.” Harsh at the end of the IPL 2018, provided Dhoni’s fans with one more opportunity to troll him. Harsh took to Twitter to name his IPL XI. Surprising or not, he left out this year’s title-winning captain Dhoni from his side and instead named Kane Williamson as the skipper.
This was all MSD fans needed to troll him. Interestingly, Harsh did not pick any other Chennai Super Kings (CSK) player in his XI as well, which features Williamson, Rashid Khan, Sunil Narine and Andrew Tye as overseas players.
