Black Caps were in complete control of the match right from the first over. Tim Southee finished the match with three wickets while Trent Boult and Mitchell Santner took two wickets each to wrap up the opposition to just 40 runs. Devon Convey finished off the match in style with boundary. Uganda finished their campaign with one win in the tournament while the Kiwis will play their last match of the competition against Papua New Guinea on Monday. Both teams crashed out of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 finishing third and fourth respectively in group C.
