New Zealand dished out an impressive performance to beat Sri Lanka in their opening match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 (CWC 2019) at the Sophia Gardens in Cardiff. A disciplined bowling effort by the Kiwis meant that Sri Lanka were bundled out for just 136 runs. The Lankan side failed to remove after the initial jolts and kept losing wickets. Lockie Ferguson and Colin de Grandhomme further dented Sri Lanka to leave them reeling at 60 for six inside 16 overs.
