Rohit Kumar Paudel has become the fourth youngest cricketer to make an One-Day International (ODI) debut. At 15 years and 336 days, Rohit made his debut against the Netherlands in the second ODI at the VRA Ground in Amstelveen. This comes days after Nepal played their first-ever ODI match. Second on the list is Kenya's Gurdeep Singh, who was 15 years and 258 days old when he made his ODI debut against Afghanistan in 2013. Canada’s Nitish Kumar was 15 years and 273 days old when he made his ODI debut Afghanistan in Sharjah in 2010.
Nepal are on tour of the Netherlands for two-match ODI series, the visitors lost the opening ODI by 55 runs while chasing a paltry target of 190 runs. Meanwhile, Nepal were bowled out for 216 runs in the second and final ODI. The visitors are looking t draw level in the series. For Nepal captain Paras Khadka and Sompal Kami scored half-centuries. Khadka scored 51 off 69 balls while Kami managed to slam quick-fire 61 off 46 balls, which included five fours and three sixes.
For Netherlands, Fred Klaassen picked three wickets while spinners Michael Rippon and Pieter Seelaar chipped in with two wickets each.
