Nepal U19’s captain flipped the coin but instead of heads or tails, it landed in-between, thus making for an amazing site. The coin did not budge either way and got stuck on the pitch. Eventually, the toss had to be redone.
Before the new toss took place the umpire, match officials and captains from both the teams sensed the rare occurrence of event and decided to take pictures with the coin. Batting first, Hong Kong displayed poor batting and managed just 95 runs in 43.1 overs. Rahul Sharma was the top-scorer for Hong Kong with 24 runs off 71 balls. In response, Nepal chased the paltry target in 16.1 overs but lost four wickets. Pawan Sarraf was top-scorer for Nepal as he made 39 off 36 balls.
