Navdeep Saini’s Wolf Tattoo Has an Interesting Story Behind It and Is Linked to the Indian Cricketer’s Childhood

Getting a tattoo on body is a big craze among sportsmen and India cricket team's latest inclusion Navdeep Saini is not different. The right handed pacer has a wolf tattoo on his hand and in a latest video released by BCCI, Saini reveals why he has a such a tattoo. Saina made debut in the Indian team during India vs West Indies 2019 1st T20 on Saturday.

In an interview with Indian pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar, the 26-year-old revealed that he and his brother used to see wolf based films a lol since their childhoods. He also said that wolf is an animal who does not perform in circus. He mentioned that these are the reasons why he has a tattoo of wolf on his hand. He also shows his tattoo in the video. Saini was spectacular with his bowling in his debut match and bagged three wickets. He took three crucial wickets of West Indies dismissing Nicholas Pooran, Kieron Pollard and Shimron Hetmyer. He also says in the video that he is very happy with his debut and this was his dream day.

“I was very happy with my debut. Getting the cap before the match was unbelievable. My pressure was eased when I got the first wicket. Then, when I took the second wicket, I almost felt like it was the day. I’ve seen many taking hat-tricks in such situation and I was just aiming at that,” the Haryana cricketer said.

Meanwhile, India defeated West Indies in the first and second T20 match by 4 wickets and 22 runs respectively. India won the three match series 2-0. The third match will be played on August 6, 2019.
