Navdeep Saini Impresses on International Debut, Picks Two Wickets in His First Over During India vs West Indies 1st T20I 2019

Navdeep Saini was handed the Indian cap ahead of the first T20I against West Indies and needless to say that the youngster has had a dream debut as he snapped a couple of wickets in his first over. Saini in his first match got rid of the main batsmen of the Windies.

Navdeep Saini was handed the Indian cap ahead of the first T20I against West Indies and needless to say that the youngster has had a dream debut as he snapped a couple of wickets in his first over. Saini in his first match got rid of the main batsmen of the Windies. Saini took four balls to adjust and just then he had his first international wicket in form of Nicholas Pooran and then Shimron Hetmyer on the very next ball. Saini bowled a quicker to Pooran and came off the deck. Pooran attempted to play it on-side but got a top edge and landed in the hands of the wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant. Pooran was sent packing on the score of 20 runs from 16 balls. During his innings, he had hit a boundary and couple of sixes. In the very next delivery, bowled a length delivery and then Shimron Hetmyer got bowled. It was the pace that bothered the batsman. With a couple of wickets, from the first over, Saini joined Pragyan Ojha who had also snapped a couple of wickets. Back in 2009, Pragyan Ojha had snapped two wickets against Bangladesh at Trent Bridge.
