After many negotiations, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) finally agreed to send their team to Pakistan for a bilateral series. However, the tour will take place in three parts. Fearing security concerns, Bangladesh is looking to stay in the country for shorter durations. The first part of the tour includes three T20Is which will be held on January 24, January 25 and January 27. In the second part, Bangladesh will play one Test from February 07 onwards. Due to security concern, Bangladesh’s senior cricketer Mushfiqur Rahim pulled out of the tour. Apart from Mushfiqur, five members of Bangladesh’s support-staff also decided against travelling to Pakistan.
