Mumbai Indians (MI) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) are scheduled to face-off in match number four of ongoing TATA WPL 2023 on March 6 (Monday) at Brabourne Stadium in Maharashtra. The exciting clash between the two notable franchise teams will kick-off at 07:30 PM IST (Indian Standard Time). Mumbai Indians are currently ruling the table at top with a huge net Run-rate of +7.150 after winning their opening clash against Gujarat Giants on Saturday. The captain of Mumbai Indians, Harmanpreet Kaur had a heroic start to her WPL career with a match-winning knock of 65 from 30. With a couple of other players like Hayley Matthews and Amelia Kerr helping with the bat, Mumbai Indians posted a towering total of 207. The host franchise then  bundled the Gujarat Giants for just 64 with some sensational bowling by Saika Ishaque who scalped four wickets and two wickets by Nat Sciver-Brunt and Amelia Kerr each. The team is in good spirits ahead of the next assignment on Monday.

In contrast, Royal Challengers Bangalore didn't have the start they would have expected. Facing Delhi Capitals, Smriti Mandhana-led side lost by 60 run lead after chasing a monumental total of 223 runs. Skipper Mandhana who made 35 off 23 alongwith Ellyse Perry's 31 off 19 and Heather Knight's 34 off 21 couldn't help in the cause as the Bangalore based franchise lost crucial points on the table. Despite world class pacers like Megan Schutt and Renuka Singh Thakur in the side, RCB failed to deliver with the ball in their previous match against Delhi Capitals. Though the team has a balanced mix of batters and bowlers, the performance that was anticipated completely missed. With the next game on the way, Smriti Mandhana and Co. will be eager to make a handy comeback. WPL 2023 Points Table Updated With Net Run Rate: Thrilling Win Against Gujarat Giants Help UP Warriorz Register Double Points On Table.
