Mumbai Indians took a jibe at Australian captain Tim Paine during India vs Australia, Boxing Day Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. The Day 3 of the third Test match saw Tim Paine and Rohit Sharma involved in a banter, which saw the Australian captain drag the latter’s Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise, Mumbai Indians, in the middle of the conversation.  Thanks to the stump mics, the fans had a great time!

On Day 4, Mumbai Indians taunted Tim Paine stating ‘Mission Failed’ after the Australian captain failed to score a century in the Test match. Mumbai Indians took to the micro-blogging site, Twitter, with a message reading, “Mission: Score a hundred and join Mumbai Indians.”

Earlier, Tim Paine had taunted Mumbai Indians’ skipper Rohit Sharma that if he hit a six (in the match now), then he would become a Mumbai Indians’ fan.
