It was a fitting end to Indian Premier League 2018 (IPL 2018). Chennai Super Kings (CSK) made their return to the league after a two-year suspension and finished as winners. MS Dhoni-led side in front of packed Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the final to lift their third IPL trophy. As soon as Ambati Rayudu hit the winning runs, the celebrations began in the CSK camp.
However, an amazing scene took place after Dhoni was handed the IPL 2018 trophy. The captain cool after receiving the silverware handed it to the rest of the team. While the whole of the CSK players including support staff was celebrating with the trophy, Dhoni was spotted behind them playing with his daughter Ziva. The pictures of which have now gone viral. It was an impressive win for CSK despite struggling at the begging of their chase. Experienced batsman Shane Watson made sure CSK chase down the required total of 179 runs. The former Australian all-rounder finished unbeaten on 117 off just 57 balls. Watson was awarded man of the match for his sublime knock, which included 11 fours and eight sixes. With this win, Super Kings now equal the Mumbai Indians' record of three IPL wins.
