MS Dhoni who has been out of action for a few months now will be flying to Australia soon for the ODI series. The former captain of India was dropped from the T20I series of West Indies and Australia. Now, Dhoni has made a comeback in the ODI series for Australia which is touted to be crucial for the upcoming ICC 2019 World Cup in England. Now, ahead of the much important series, MS Dhoni went to seek the blessing of Deori Devi in Ranchi. MS Dhoni EXCLUDED From T20 Squad for Series Against West Indies and Australia; Virat Kohli Rested for Caribbean T20 Matches, Rohit Sharma to Lead the Team.

The former captain of India is a regular visitor of the deity and always makes it a point to visit the temple ahead of any important series. Dhoni was seen performing puja and sat at the temple with utmost patience. Pictures and video of the Dhoni at the temple went viral and were shared by the cricketer’s fan pages. MS Dhoni is selected along with Rishabh Pant in the T20I games for the New Zealand series. For the ODI series against Australia starting next week, he made his way along with his contemporaries like Dinesh Karthik.  In 2018, Dhoni’s form was under the scanner as he could only score 250 runs from 20 ODIs with an average of 25.00. His highest score was 42 runs. However, the former captain will be looking forward to answering his critics his a series of blistering performances.
