Needless to say that local boy MS Dhoni who has a very large fan following in his city, got a roaring welcome from the people. The Indian team head to Ranchi after taking the lead of 2-0 in the five-match ODI series. MS Dhoni has played three games at the Jharkhand State Cricket Association in Ranchi. Out of the three matches played in Ranchi, India has lost and won a game. The third game was washed away. In terms of wicket-keeping on his home turf, Dhoni has three catches and a stumping in Ranchi. MS Dhoni has had a cracking start to the ODI in 2019. Dhoni has already scored 301 runs from just eight matches. He has batted at a staggering average of 100.33. Dhoni came back in form right in time as he is considered to be a crucial player for the upcoming 2019 ICC World Cup. Overall, Dhoni has played 340 ODIs and scored more than 10,000 runs at an average of just under 51.
