After the conclusion o the third test match between India and South Africa in Ranchi, local boy MS Dhoni surprised the Men in Blue by paying them a visit at the JSCA Cricket Stadium in Ranchi. MS Dhoni was seen engaging with debutant Shahbaz Nadeem who snapped four wickets in the match. It was Nadeem who asked Mahi for feedback to which he said, “Shahbaz, you have matured now. I was watching you bowl. There is a maturity in your bowling now. That is because of your domestic experience. Just don’t experiment too much and play the way you have been playing. Your journey has started, Shahbaz.’ We chatted about our journeys,” the left-arm spinner told TOI. Nadeem snapped the wickets of Temba Bavuma, Anrich Nortje, Theunis de Bruyn and Lungi Ngidi.

After making his debut, Nadeem even thanked Virat Kohli for the support rendered to him during his debut game.

Nadeem was in Kolkata when he learnt about his inclusion in the Indian squad and he set off immediately as soon as he got to know about the news. India won the series by 3-0 and maintained their dominance at the World Test Championship points table by remaining unbeaten so far.
