MS Dhoni can keep himself away from cricket, but the Indian cricketer cannot delink himself from sports. Recently, he took part in a football match in Mumbai. Dhoni played a charity football match in Mumbai along with Indian tennis player Leander Paes. Rhiti Sports shared photos of the Indian cricket legend in footballer avatar on Facebook. Some videos of Dhoni playing in the match were also shared on social media. Dhoni is currently on a break from cricket. The 39-year-old has not played a single match since ICC World Cup 2019. He first opted out of India’s tour of West Indies 2019 and then made himself unavailable for the South Africa 2019 series as well. However, it looks like Dhoni is finding every way to enjoy his off-field time. Dhoni’s retirement news started doing the rounds after ICC World Cup 2019, in which India was ruled out after losing in the semi-final against New Zealand. Dhoni made himself unavailable for West Indies 2019 tour to serve the Indian Army. He spent time with his Indian Army contingent 106 TA Battalion (Para) in Kashmir. He undertook patrol duties during the time. Later, he opted out of the South Africa 2019 series as well.

Recently, Dhoni went to United States to take part in Amateur golf tournament. After returning to India, he was spotted playing billiards in Ranchi. And now, Dhoni participated in a football match.
