The South Stand of the Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) will soon be named after MS Dhoni. The cricketer has truly put Jharkhand on the world map and has come a long way. The former Indian captain had battled his way through the top and even went on to lead the country. Dhoni has surely been one of the most successful captains produced by India as he has been the only captain to have picked all the major ICC trophies. So it’s obvious for the state board to honour Dhoni. The placard is already installed in the stadium. MS Dhoni has already been honoured with Jharkhand Ratna- the State’s highest civilian honour. He has also been awarded the prestigious Padma Bhushan. The official announcement of the honour is yet to happen, but as per reports, but is expected to be announced when India play Australia in the 3rd ODI of the upcoming five-match series at the venue on March 8, 2019.
