MS Dhoni today displayed his vintage form by scoring 55 runs from 54 balls during India vs Australia, 2nd ODI 2019. The former captain of India, who has been on the radar of the critics for a while now, sealed the match for India. With this, the three-match series now stands levelled 1-1. MS Dhoni is now averaging 99.85 while Kohli is a close second with 99.04. The former Indian captain’s six in the last over impressed the fans. The official accounts of the BCCI and Chennai Super Kings went on to hail the finisher. Dhoni today did a stellar job behind the stumps as well. It was due to his quick stumping that Peter Handscomb was sent packing on the score of 21 runs.  Today, in the match Dhoni made an 82-run partnership with Virat Kohli. "MS was tired as well, fielding for 50 overs and batting as well, it was tough. So a good day to rest and travel and recover and regroup for the MCG. Tonight was an MS classic. He takes the game until the end, when only he knows what's going on in his mind, and he backs himself to hit those big shots at the end. And hats off to Dinesh too, he came in and took the pressure off him," Kohli praised his predecessor at the post-match presentation.
