Mumbai, April 26: Matthew Hayden heaped praise on Chennai Super Kings (CSK) MS Dhoni after he scored a match-winning knock against their arch-rivals Royal Challengers Bangalore, last night. Hayden, who is also a former CSK player, said that it is Dhoni who is the real ‘Universe Boss’ – a term which the cricket fans associate with Chris Gayle.

Matthew Hayden was at his verbal best while posting the congratulatory message on his Twitter account. Not only MS Dhoni, but Ambati Rayudu also found himself a new nickname – Mr Iceman, in Hayden’s latest tweet. Hayden tweeted, “Oh my God. Please let me sleep. Why did you have to make CSK [sic] so awesome, MS Dhoni [sic] the real universe boss and Ambati Rayudu [sic] – Mr Iceman you have me so excited for the rest of this years. It was Ambati Rayudu’s calm-yet-explosive approach and MS Dhoni’s master class that saw CSK raze down RCB’s mammoth target of 206 runs. Between them, they hit only 4 fours, but 15 giant sixes across the M Chinnaswamy Stadium. Shane Watson, Suresh Raina, and Sam Billings had a quiet night, but it was Rayudu & Dhoni’s willow that made all the noise! Such was their mayhem that it saw CSK win the match by 5 wickets and 2 balls to spare.

With this win, the MS Dhoni-led CSK team has climbed on the top of the IPL 2018 Points Table. Out of the 6 matches, CSK has played, they have won five matches and lost one. With 10 points, they are a notch above Kings XI Punjab (KXIP), as they are ahead in their Net Run Rate (NRR).

With all said and done, it was one of those nights which made the fans believe that the Dhoni of yesteryears is back. With his bat swinging with fluency and the ball being dispatched to different parts of the park, it was nothing but the brute power that was on display. The explosive innings suggested a lot of things but then the CSK fans would be happy to see the vintage Dhoni back!

MS Dhoni has once again silenced his critics in his usual style, i.e. with the batting prowess that he possesses. Chris Gayle, who is signed by KXIP, is in a great touch too, this Indian Premier League (IPL) season. Moving ahead in the tournament, it will be interesting to see who the real Universal Boss is!
