Interestingly, a similar incident happened with MS Dhoni during the match against Rajasthan Royals on March 31, 2019 of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019. Dhoni, who was on strike, missed the ball and the ball went on to hit the stumps, but the bails did not come off. Everyone, including the commentators were amazed at that sight.
The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) beat the Kings XI Punjab by 22 runs in Saturday's contest at the Chepauk stadium. Chasing 160, KXIP could manage only 138/5 off the 20 overs. Harbhajan Singh shined for the CSK with the ball, taking out Chris Gayle and Mayank Agrawal in his first spell.
