In the last match, he made 87 runs and once against went on to be the crowd’s favourite. But just before he walked out to bat in the third ODI at the MCG, he got a roaring reception from the attendees who had come to the stadium to watch the match.

Dhoni came out to bat at a very crucial moment when Shikhar Dhawan got out and India was a couple of wickets down on the score of 59. The team was in trouble and India needed a good partnership as they chased 231 runs. But, the visitors won the game with four balls to spare.
