Earlier this month, Mohammed Shami's wife Hasin Jahan opened a can of worms by making serious allegations of cheating. She also went on to say that the pacer was involved in match-fixing and accused of accepting money from a London based man named Mohammed bhai.

Now, for the first time, Mohammed bhai gave out a statement and said that he knows Shami and his wife Hasin Jahan and met them during their visit to London. Not only this, but he also mentioned that he was the one who took Shami and his wife for sightseeing. However, he denied the claims of match-fixing and said that he never gave money to Shami.

Mohammed bhai further made a startling revelation and said that he does not know the Alishba, (the Pakistani girl who stayed with Shami in Dubai).

Meanwhile, Alishba confirmed that she met the pacer in Dubai. While talking to one of the news channels, she said, "Yes, I met him. I am a frequent flyer to Dubai because my sister stays in Sharjah. As a person, I really like Shami. As any fan that has idolized a celebrity, they always dream of meeting their idol. I had the desire to meet him (Shami) like any other fan would want to, which I don't think is a big deal."

The BCCI also confirmed that Shami had stayed in Dubai on February 17-18. The response from the board came after the Kolkata police checked on Shami's schedule this month.

Hasin Jahan had earlier accused Shami of abusing her physically and mentally on multiple occasions. The 28-year-old has been booked under various non-bailable and bailable sections of the IPC, including Section 307 (attempt to murder) and Section 376 (rape) of the Indian Penal Code.
