Hafeez is playing for St Kitts and Nevis Patriots and has also been expelled from the Pakistan Cricket Board’s central contracts. Mohammed Hafeez has been retired from Test Cricket but remained available for the shorter format of the game. Hafeez was not selected for the upcoming Sri Lankan series which will begin on September 28, 2019. Many of the Lankan players have opted out of the series for security issues. Players like Lasith Malinga, Dinesh Chandimal and nine other players will not be playing the series.
