Ahead of India vs England, CWC 2019 Jonny Bairstow has received flak from Michael Vaughan over his response to criticism. The England Cricket Team lost their last two matches in the CWC 2019 and their qualification for the top four remains uncertain. The Three Lions lost to Sri Lanka and Australia by 20 and 64 runs respectively. After their defeat against Australia, England former captain Kevin Pietersen said Eoin Morgan was scared of Mitchell Starc. This surely did not go down well with Jonny Bairstow who said that people were waiting for the team to fail only so that they could jump on them. Now, Bairstow’s comment has irked the former England cricket, Micheal Vaughan. Kevin Pietersen Slams Eoin Morgan For 'Being Scared of Mitchell Starc' During ENG vs AUS, CWC 2019; England Captain Gets Upset On Being Asked About It (Watch Video).

He labelled Jonny Bairstow as pathetic and negative on social media. "How wrong can @jbairstow21 be," Vaughan posted on his Instagram account. Never has England team had so much support but it's you and your team that has disappointed Jonny.WIN 2 games and you are in the semis .. With this negative, pathetic mindset I am concerned though.. it's not the media's fault you have lost 3 games .. !!!,” he wrote.

Team England will play against India on June 30, 2019, at The Old Trafford in Birmingham. Team India is so far the only to have remained unbeaten in the CWC 2019. On one hand, where England will look to get back to winning ways, the Men in Blue would want to keep up their winning streak.
