Michael Vaughan was heavily trolled on social media by Indian cricket fans for taking a jibe at Indian pitches. The former England international criticised the Test match pitches in India for producing lop-sided games and termed it as “boring” with the game heavily loaded towards the batsmen. Vaughan’s comments came after Virat Kohli and Mayank Agarwal’s centuries propelled India to a massive score on Day 2 of the 2nd Test match between Indian and South Africa. Ajinkya Rahane and Ravindra Jadeja also hit half-centuries making it for the second successive time in the series that India scored in excess of 400 runs in the series. Twitterati, however, wasn’t pleased with Vaughan’s taunt and trolled him by drawing comparisons to the pitches in England. India Vs South Africa, Live Cricket Score 2nd Test Match.
“Test match cricket pitches in India are boring…The first 3/4 days the contest is far too in favour of the bat…needs more action for the bowler…My thought of the day …,” tweeted the former England international on Day 2 of the 2nd India vs South Africa Test match. But his observations didn’t bode well with the die-hard Indian cricket fans, who lashed back at Vaughan for his comments. Many compared the Indian Test match pitches to those in England and hit back at Vaughan by mentioning how the irregular rain and inclement weather in England have intervened several Test matches ad even hit the ICC Crocket World Cup 2019 as well as Ashes 2019 Test series.

If That's True, There are No Differences
Test matches in England has 31% draw result. We have 41%. Nothing much difference I think. You can be sure that we'll have a result in this match.

At Least Not Poor Drainage Systems
Better than england...rain breaks almost every alternate day of a test match and poor drainage systems

India Are a Giant At Home Conditions
Or maybe it's the skill level of Indians, and the lack of of the opposition.
Does this mean you well not complain when India prepare track turners??? This will allow the bowlers to be in action more

South Africa's Bowling Attack Lacks The Tooth
Its not in favour of the bat, its the lack of bowling qualities in visiting teams. The same pitch will look as threat if India had bowled first. No team in the world is a match to Indian spin bowling.

Fast Pitches Fair??
Why a Pitch with seam movement is considered as Great Test cricket but on the other hand if Pitch turns that is boring test cricket?
Just like Fast Bowling with proper seam movement, playing in the spinning conditions is also an art and not many foreign players have mastered it.

England Lost the Last Test Series in India
If thats true don’t you think England should have batted a lot better after winning toss all Tests last tour? They should piled on runs and misery on India. But they lost 4-0. Indian conditions are such you cannot have green tracks and swing like England. I thought you knew that

Meanwhile, India are comfortably placed in the 2nd Test match, which is being played at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune. The Hosts, powered by a terrific and record-breaking double hundred from Virat Kohli and a century from Mayank Agarwal, posted 601 runs on board. India declared after crossing the 600-run mark and with South Africa struggling with already seven wickets down, a victory looks imminent.
