MI vs SRH Highlights of VIVO IPL 2021: Mumbai Indians Beat Sunrisers Hyderabad By 13 Runs

Mumbai Indians win by 13 runs! Yet another middle-order collapse for Sunrisers Hyderabad as they throw away the game after a brilliant start by the Warner-Bairstow pair. Mumbai once again produced a sensational comeback to defend a low total.

Wicket! Jasprit Bumrah once again dies the trick for Mumbai Indians as he gets rid of Vijay Shankar. The SRH batter couldn't read the slower delivery and ended up skying the ball straight to Suryakumar Yadav. Shankar c Suryakumar Yadav b Bumrah 28(25).

Wicket! Trent Boult gets his first wicket of the game. A sensational yorker from the Kiwi catches Rashid Khan plumb in front of the stumps. Rashid Khan lbw b Boult 0(1).

Wicket! Hardik Pandya at it once again for the Mumbai Indians. The all-rounder runs out Abdul Samad with a sensational direct hit. Abdul Samad run out (Hardik Pandya) 7(8).

Wicket! A similar trend continues for SRH as wickets tumble in the middle order after a brilliant start to the game. Rahul Chahar once again does the trick as he dismisses Abhishek Sharma and Virat Singh in one over.

David Warner is run-out. Mumbai Indians are back in the game and how. The single was risky but Warner still calls Virat Singh and gifts away his wicket with Hardik Pandya hitting the wicket with a bulls eye throw from point region. Virat Singh plays straight to Pandya and Warner called for a quick single but is well short of his crease as Pandya hits the stumps. 

Wicket! Yet another disappointing outing for Manish Pandey as he fails to take advantage of the brilliant start. Rahul Chara strikes in his very first over of the game. Manish Pandey c Pollard b Rahul Chahar 2(7).

Wicket! Mumbai Indians get a much-needed breakthrough as Jonny Bairstow gets hit wicket. The Englishman tried to sweep the ball but invertedly disturbed the stumps with his back-foot, disturbing the furniture in the process. Bairstow hit wkt b Krunal Pandya 43(22).

End of the Powerplay. Sunrisers are cruising here with Jonny Bairstow on a roll. Bumrah only concedes two runs but SRH have taken enough from the other overs to post 57 runs in the powerplay overs. Bairstow, who took Boult for 18 runs, is batting on 41 from just 18 deliveries while Warner is on 15.

Jonny Bairstow takes 18 runs off Trent Boult's over to give Sunrisers Hyderabad the start they needed after two quiet overs. Bairstow started the over with boundaries through the leg side before smashing Boult for a six over mid-on and then finding another boundary through the same region. 

Pollard smashed Bhuvneshwar Kumar for consecutive sixes and takes 17 runs off the final over to help Mumbai Indians post 150 run on the scoreboard. Pollard finishes unbeaten on 35 off 22 balls and his innings was studded with three huge sixes and one boundary.

OUT! Khaleel Ahmed Removes Hardik Pandya. Just a ball after Vijay Shankar dropped Kieron Pollard at deep mid-wicket, Pandya goes for the slog and mistimes the ball to deep cover where Virat Singh took it comfortably. 

OUT! Mujeeb Ur Rahman gets his second wicket in the match. Ishan Kishan goes back after being caught by wicket-keeper Jonny Bairstow. Mujeeb bowled one down the leg side and Kishan chased it but only managed to glove it with Bairstow taking a fine catch.  Ishan Kishan c Bairstow b Mujeeb 12(21)

OUT! Muheeb Ur Rahman has picked up an important wicket. Quinton de Kock goes back in trying to up the ante. De Kock read the full length early and went after it but failed to get the perfect timings. He is caught by substitute fielder J Suchith at deep mid-wicket.  de Kock c (sub)J Suchith b Mujeeb 40(39)

Rashid Khan and Vijay Shankar have kept the lines tight and dried up easy runs for Mumbai Indians. Ishan Kishan and Quinton de Kock are looking to rebuild the Mumbai Indians' innings after the loss of two quick wickets. De Kock is batting on 39 from 36 balls while Kishan has struggled and has only scored six from 12 deliveries. 

OUT! Vijay Shankar gets the breakthrough for SRH. This time he removes Suryakumar Yadav, who goes back after offering a simple return catch to Shankar. Shankar foxed Suryakumar with the slower ball and takes a good low catch to claim the wicket. Suryakumar Yadav c and b Shankar 10(6)

OUT! Vijay Shankar has struck in his first over for Sunrisers Hyderabad. Shankar has dismissed the dangerous Rohit Sharma., who went for the big slog but it caught at deep mid-wicket by Virat Singh. Rohit c Virat Singh b Shankar 32(25) 

End of the powerplay. Mumbai Indians have completely bossed it. Rohit Sharma and Quinton de Kock have stitched a 53-run stand in the opening six overs. Sharma is batting on 34 from 24 deliveries while De Kock is on 16.

Rohit Sharma smashes Mujeeb Ur Rahman for 13 runs in his first over to give Mumbai Indians a good start against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Rohit first hit a four through the mid-wicket region and then clobbered Mujeeb for a six through the same region.
