MI Win By 8 Wickets! What an emphatic all-round performance it has been from Mumbai Indians. After a clinical bowling display, the batsmen put up a stellar show as Kolkata Knight Riders never looked in the game. Quinton de Kock was sensational in particular, scoring an unbeaten 78 off 44 deliveries. Hardik Pandya (21) also showcased some fireworks as the four-time champions crossed the line with 19 balls to spare. Quinton de Kock hasn't put a foot wrong here as Mumbai Indians are cruising towards a comprehensive win. The four-time champions need mere 23 runs off the last five overs and only a miracle can bring KKR back in the hunt.

OUT! Finally something to cheer for Kolkata Knight Riders as MI skipper Rohit Sharma departs. It was an away-swinging delivery which completely bamboozled the Hitman as he edged it to the wicket-keeper Dinesh Karthik. First one down for MI but can KKR make a comeback?

Just the starts Mumbai Indians wanted! Rohit Sharma and Quinton de Kock made optimum utilization of the powerplay overs, scoring 51 runs in the first six overs. Kolkata Knight Riders need to take wickets in a flurry or it will be a cakewalk for the four-time champions.

Excellent start for Mumbai Indians as skipper Rohit Sharma attack KKR bowlers from the outset. He smashed Prasidh Krishna for three boundaries in the third over as MI are 30/3 in three overs. Only wickets can bring Kolkata back in the contest. 

The players are back in the middle as the action resumes. Rohit Sharma and Quinton de Kock are the two openers for Mumbai Indians while KKR debutant Chris Green starts proceedings with the ball.

What a brilliant knock it has been from Pat Cummins! KKR looked all set to get restricted for a mediocre total after losing five batsmen inside 11 runs. However, the Australian dasher joined the party and scored runs all over the park. He brought up his  maiden IPL fifty as Kolkata piled up 148/5 in Abu Dhabi. Not to forget the contribution from skipper Eoin Morgan who scored 39 off 26 balls. Amid all the efforts, can KKR restrict the mighty MI batting line-up under this total? Skipper Eoin Morgan and Pat Cummins have steadied the ship following a top-order collapse. The former has been the aggressor in the partnership as he's playing on 28 off 18 balls while Morgan is determined to stay till the end, batting at 11 off 17 deliveries. However, he has put the foot on the gas as the final five overs coming up.

Just when we thought the vintage Andre Russell is back, Jasprit Bumrah came to party and send the Caribbean dasher back to the pavilion.  It was a short delivery from the pacer which caught Russell off-guard as he only was able to guide the delivery to wicket-keeper Quinton de Kock. Toss: The news from the center is that the newly-appointed KKR skipper Eoin Morgan has elected to bat first after winning the toss at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
