She was seen cheering for India in the stands during the match, waving the tricolour and blowing a vuvuzela. The graceful lady was spotted with the Indian flag on her cheeks and cheered her heart out. No sooner the commentators saw her, Sourav Ganguly said that she is a ball of energy and wondered what he would be doing at the age of 87. Hailing from India, the 87-year-old is Charulata Patel. She was born 44 years before the first World Cup was played in 1975. Being an ardent fan of the Indian cricket team, she says that she prays for the Men in Blue. She also sent blessings to the Indian team for the CWC 2019.

Talking about the game, after winning the toss, Virat Kohli and men elected to bat first. KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma gave a great start to India as they made 77 and 104 runs respectively. The Indians posted a total of 314 runs on the board. The Bangladeshi team had lost six wickets and needs more than 90 runs to win the game.
