As the Indian Cricket Team plays in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024, several regional T20 leagues are in action ahead of the start of the 2024-24 domestic season. The Maharashtra Premier League, Sher-E-Punjab Trophy, Chhattisgarh Premier League and Bengal Pro T20 League are the ones going on currently. Another one joining them will be the upcoming Madhya Pradesh League Scindia Cup. The tournament starting on June 15, 2024, will be its inaugural edition. All teams participating in the Madhya Pradesh League Scindia Cup 2024 will play each other twice in the group stage matches and the team that finishes on top will advance to the finals. The second and third-placed teams will play each other in the eliminator. The finals will be played on June 23, between the winner of the eliminator and the first-placed team from the league stage. Each of the five teams represent a separate region of Madhya Pradesh and each team has a icon player.

Malwa Panthers is the team that will represent the Malwa region and they will be captained by icon and star cricketer Rajat Patidar who impressed in the IPL for RCB.
