Bangla Tigers were already reeling in the ongoing India vs Bangladesh day-night Test match and Mahmudullah's injury has worsened the case for the visitors. The veteran looked one Bangladeshi batsman who could tackle the Indian pacers but pulled his hamstring at the wrong time and was forced to leave the ground. After the top-order collapsed, the batsman along with Mushfiqur Rahim tried to steady the ship and brought the visitor’s’ innings back on track. Mehidy Hasan came in to bat after his departure and will have the onus to put a good show with the bat. Bangladesh already had two concussion substitutes in the match which means no one can replace Mahmudullah in the line-up. Earlier in the match, Mehidy Hasan replaced Liton Das while Taijul Islam came in for Nayeem Hasan. Talking about the match, Bangladesh have lost four wickets in their second innings and are still trailing by more than 100 runs. Indian pacers again wreaked havoc and dismantled their opposition’s top order and the result of the match looks on the cards. Earlier in the match, India posted 347 runs in the first innings and took a 241 lead from Bangladesh’s first innings total. However, they have managed to put up a better performance with the bat but that still doesn’t seem to affect the result of the historic clash.
