Fondly known as ‘Captain Cool’, Indian skipper and ace Indian International cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni is ringing in his 37th birthday today in England. The Indian cricket team are currently there for India-England tour. In a video that is going viral on social media, Dhoni is seen celebrating his birthday with wife Sakshi and daughter Ziva along with fellow Indian team players. On the eve of his 37th birthday, Dhoni came out to bat in the second T20I against England, becoming the third Indian cricketer to play 500 international matches.
A fan account posted the video of MS Dhoni’s birthday celebrations. Dhoni and other players are seen singing ‘Happy Birthday Mahi’. In the video, Dhoni is seen cutting two cakes and others are joyfully clapping for the most adored Indian cricketer.

Later Dhoni’s face was smeared with cake as it is a tradition within the Indian cricketers. Indian all rounder Suresh Raina also shared photos from the birthday celebrations on Twitter and wished the Indian skipper on occasion.

Along with other team players, Virat Kohli’s wife and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma was also spotted at the celebrations. Other cricketers who wished Dhoni were Mohammad Kaif, VVS Laxman and Virendra Sehwag. Dhoni is one of the most celebrated and loved person, both as a player and the captain of the Indian cricket team, which has earned him massive respect among the fans around the world.
MS Dhoni has countless achievements up his sleeve, including Padma Bhushan in 2018, Padma Shree in 2009, Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna in 2007 among others. While he may have announced retirement from the test cricket, he continues to play the ODI and T20 formats. India lost the 2nd TODI against England in Cardiff on Friday. England levelled the series 1-1 after beating India by five wickets.
