And that is it! Lucknow Super Giants beat Gujarat Titans by 33 runs and it has surely been a memorable one, especially for Yash Thakur who has taken his first and the season's first five-wicket haul. Defending 163 was always going to be tough and the bowlers pulled off a magnificent effort to hand Gujarat Titans their second consecutive loss in IPL 2024. Barring Thakur, Krunal Pandya also starred with three wickets and it were LSG's spinners which tightened the screws on this run chase for Gujarat Titans. Shubman Gill says that it was a good batting track but the batters let them down and Gujarat will have some thinking to do before their next game. Mayank Yadav has been introduced into this match and Shubman Gill along with Sai Sudharsan have smashed 13 runs off his first over. Three fours were hit and unfortunately, the tearaway pacer has left the field after the over.

Gujarat Titans have gotten off to a good start with Sai Sudharsan having played some good shots. They will look to have a solid opening stand and take the game away from LSG. 

Lucknow Super Giants have managed just 163/5 which is not enough on this track. Gujarat Titans bowlers have had a good outing here with Spencer Johnson conceding just eight in the last over. For Gujarat, Umesh Yadav and Darshan Nalkande took two wickets each while Rashid Khan finished with one. Lucknow will need a superb bowling performance and all eyes will be on Mayank Yadav and his pace.
