Five teams taking part in the LPL 2020 are- Colombo Kings, Kandy Tuskers, Jaffna Stallions, Galle Gladiators, and Dambulla Lions. Each team will play two matches in the double round-robin format. In view of the coronavirus pandemic, overseas players taking part in the LPL 2020 will be required to undergo quarantine for seven days. After that the players will be allowed begin training. Organisers will create a bio-secure bubble for players and others part of the LPL 2020.
