India vs West Indies 2018 First Test, Highlights; India Wins the Test Match by an Inning & 272 Runs

This was India's remarkable comeback after they lost against England by 1-4. there have been a lot of positives for the hosts. Young Prithvi Shaw was the first show stealer and then came Virat Kohli. Jadeja's 100 was an icing on the cake! Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammad Shami and others displayed immense character as they wrapped up the West Indies innings on 196 runs. This brings India to lead the Test series by 1-0. So that's all from our side for now! Good Day! 

So that's the wrap of the West Indies innings and India wins the first test match at Rajkot by an innings and 272 runs. This has been the biggest winning for India and the hosts take the lead of 1-0 in two-match Test Series! 

A slight edge by Devendra Bishoo and Pant got it right! However, the appeal was turned down. But Rishabh Pant and R Ashwin went for a review which turned out to be in India's favour. Bishoo OUT on 9. Time for Tea! West Indies trails by 283 runs.

Powell who looked extremely good and played various shots throughout his innings, falls in the traps of Kuldeep Yadav. Bowls a flighted delivery and Prithvi Shaw at the silly points makes no mistake. Powell OUT on 83. 

Kuldeep Yadav is turning to be the boy with a golden arm. the spinner strikes once again getting the wicket of Roston Chase. Bowls near the crease and Chase attempt to drive it off towards the cover and Ashwin grabs it! Chase OUT on  20.

After losing a couple of wickets back- to back the West Indian players are in no mood to take things lightly. Keiran Powell and Roston Chase are trying their level best to get rid of the follow-on imposed by the Indians. Roston is currently batting on 8 and Powell on 69

Kuldeep Yadav strikes twice in an over to reduce West Indies to 97 for 4. Ambris is out for duck. 

Kuldeep Yadav strikes again to get Hetmyer out for 11 runs in as many balls. West Indies struggling in their second innings as well. 

Kieran Powell scores half-century in the second innings. The opener is playing a gritty knock to bring his sixth fifty in the test career. 

West Indies lost their second wicket while following-up in the second innings against the hosts. Shai Hope is LBW by Kuldeep Yadav for 17 runs.

West Indies is struggling in their second innings too, following-on after getting dismissed at 181 in the morning, visitors have lost their opener Kraigg Brathwaite to Ashwin. The visitors are still trailing by 435 runs with nine wickets in hand.

After bundling West Indies for 181, Indian Captain Virat Kohli enforced the follow-on on the visitors.  The openers are onfield to start their second innings.
