India vs West Indies 1st T20I 2018 Highlights: Rohit Sharma & Co Beat Windies by 5 Wickets

So that's a wrap and India wins the first T20I by 5 wickets...  All thanks to the efforts of Dinesh Karthik and Krunal Pandya... 

Keemo Paul is back into the attack. Left and right combination for the Windies. Pandya hits a beautiful FOUR and then a couple gets the hosts to the victory. India wins the game by 5 wickets. 

Pierre is back to business and an appeal from the bowler turned down by the umpire. Team Windies goes for a review which goes against them. Krunal Pandya angles it well to the fine leg for FOUR. 

Fabian Allen, left-arm orthodox, comes into the attack. Krunal Pandya gets off the mark with a single. SIngles coming in quite easily for the Indians. Krunal Pandya ends the over with a FOUR. 

Pierre is back to business. Strikes to the team with a wicket of Manish Pandey who get caught and bowled, Pandey OUT for 19. Looked quite good for the Indians. Krunal Pandya, left handed bat, comes to the crease

Captain Brathwaite is back is here to bowl his fourth over. Once again bowls tight but Manish Pandey does a fine job of sending the ball between extra cover and long-off for a FOUR. India needs 30 runs from 36 balls.

Pierre is back to bowl and gives away four runs from the over.  A couple of dot balls given by the newbie. 

Kieron Pollard is here to bowl. Dinesh Karthik finally breaks free with a FOUR to the leg side. Karthik once again times the ball well for a FOUR. Takes the pressure off from the Indians.  Bad bowling from Pollard. Ends the over with a FOUR. India needs 41 runs 48 balls to win the match. 

Khary Pierre is the new bowler introduced by the Windies. Quite a tight situation for the hosts now. The match getting on to an interesting juncture. the new bowler bringing out variations in the pace. Three runs off the over. 

Brathwaite is back to bowl his third over. Bowls amazingly well for the first four balls.  Just two runs coming off the over. Wonder if selectors kicking themselves for of axing Dhoni.

Oshane Thomas is back to bowl his last over. Smart cricket by Windies as they bring in slip and gully in place for Karthik as they know he is the danger man. Karthik gets a top edge and sends the ball to the dugout for a SIX. 

Brathwaite gets his second wicket in the form of KL Rahul. The wicket-keeper time it well and lands it straight into the hands of Darren Bravo. KL Rahul OUT on 16 from 22 balls. Dinesh Karthik the new man in. No runs given this over. Wicket maiden for the captain.

Paul is back to bowl and gets a WIDE. Manish Pandey does not get the timing right and hits a FOUR towards long-on. 10 runs from the over for the Indians. Windies too had lost three wickets at this juncture. 

Captain Brathwaite is here to bowl his first over. Rishabh Pant has a soft dismissal. Angled it wrongly towards the leg side and gets airborne for a few seconds going vertically up in the air. Darren Bravo catches it. Pant OUT for 1 from four balls. Manish Pandey the new man in, 

Thomas is here and bowls between 144-147 kmph. Strong fielding at the boundary saves a couple of runs for the team. FOUR byes in the fifth bowl of the over. FOUR to end the over as KL Rahul hits towards fine leg. 

Paul is here to ball. KL Rahul pierces it through the covers for a FOUR. Bowls a WIDE. Pant and Rahul rotating the strike quite once in a while. No run to end the over for the Windies

Pressure on the Indians with Rohit Sharma's wicket. Dhawan pushes it away to the leg side for a FOUR.  Thomas bowls short and rips off the middle stump. Dhawan looks clueless and gets  BOWLED for 3 from eight balls. Rishabh Pant the new man in. 

KL Rahul the new man in. Keemo Paul, right-arm fast medium, comes into the attack. Bowlers getting movement on the pitch and the batsmen find it difficult to score runs. 

Openers Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan are here. Thomas opens the bowling attack. Rohit Sharma makes good use of the feet and sends the ball to the boundary over the man at point for a FOUR. Thomas bowls a WIDE. Looks like an inside edge and the umpire turn down the appeal. Wicket-keeper makes no mistake and yes there is an edge. DRS goes in favour of Windies. Sharma OUT for 6. 

Jasprit Bumrah is here to bowl the last over. Change of pace s making it difficult for the batsmen to score runs. FOUR runs to end the over for the Windies. This is their lowest score against the Indians.
