Around two overs remaining in the day's play. India will be looking to pick one more wicket here before going into the shed. Travis Head will have to make sure that Australia do not lose a wicket now.
Mitchell Starc is the new batsman in for Australia. It is Ravi Ashwin who is sharing the new ball with Jasprit Bumrah. Meanwhile, Australia trail by 70 runs.

So, it is time for tea break on day two. This Test is nicely poised with both the teams fighting it out to take full control. Handscomb and Head head back to the hutch having done a decent job thus far. India managed to pick two wickets in this session.
Getting better and better this partnership. It is worth just 26 runs, but these two have have together faced 87 deliveries. Handscomb is batting on 32 while Head is on 14.
The pressure is on Australian batsmen. Peter Handscomb and Travis Head not able to rotate the strike as of now. Meanwhile, Ravi Ashwin is continuing from one end. He has already bowled 17 overs and picked three wickets.

So, it is time for lunch break. Australia have lost two wickets in this session. Aaron Finch was removed early on by Ishant Sharma. Debutant Marcus Harris looked good before he fell to Ravi Ashwin. Usman Khawaja is batting on 21 and Shaun Marsh has is on one.

Virat Kohli has used four bowlers so far, including the spinner Ravi Ashwin. Mohammed Shami is keeping it tight, not allowing any freebies to the batsmen. Meanwhile, Harris and Usman have added 45 runs for the second wicket.
Watchful progression by Usman Khawaja and Marcus Haris. not willing to take any risk at the moment and rightly so. Both have been solid with their defence.Â
India will be hoping that Shami and Bumrah score some 20 more runs. Anything over 20 will be a bonus. While Australia will be looking to bowl out India as quickly as possible. Australian pacers were on target on day one. However, they will be slightly disappointed to have let India off the hook after once having them on the back-foot on 86 for five.
