Ahead of the first Test match, India lost its in-form talented batsman Prithvi Shaw due to a freak ankle injury. The 19-year-old was flown back to Mumbai, and is not expected to return before the Third test. In his absence, the opening pair will be KL Rahul and Murali Vijay.
