The Indian Premier League 2019 (IPL 2019) has witnessed six batsmen scoring centuries thus far. Interestingly, the six batsmen belong to only four franchises. Two players each from Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) and one from each Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have registered the three-figure mark. RR’s Sanju Samson was the first player to score a ton this season. IPL 2019 Orange Cap Winner Updated.

Apart from six centuries, four batsman have either stuck or have been dismissed in the nineties. Interestingly, Sunrisers’ David Warner, as of now, is the only left-handed batsman in the list. His SRH teammate Jonny Bairstow scored the fastest century this season as he took only 52 balls to reach the milestone. Both Warner and Bairstow are the only overseas players to have scored a century in the ongoing season of IPL.

Ajinkya Rahane is the latest batman to score a century this season. The right-hander score unbeaten 105 against Delhi Capitals. With over 15 matches left in the IPL, including the playoffs, one expects few more batsman to notch the three-figure score. IPL 2019 Purple Cap Winner Updated.
