There are no second thoughts about how fast Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain MS Dhoni is when it comes to running between the wickets. In fact, the three-time IPL winning captain is equally swift when it comes to wicketkeeping. Post Super Kings’ title triumph against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the final of IPL 2018 at the Wankhede Stadium, Dhoni challenged all-rounder Dwayne Bravo and the duo competed with each other in a three-run dash.

No prizes for guessing who won the dash! It was none other than MS Dhoni. Though by a fraction of seconds. Here’s the three-run dash between Dhoni and Bravo

Last year we saw how Dhoni defeated team India all-rounder Hardik Pandya in a 100m dash ahead of a One-Day International (ODI) match against Sri Lanka. And now, Dhoni has zipped past Bravo.

Apparently, it was a happy CSK camp following the win over Sunrisers. Shane Watson opening the inning smashed an unbeaten 117 off just 57 balls to help CSK chase down 179 runs. The win was CSK’s third title victory in the IPL as they equal Mumbai Indians’ record.

During the match, Dhoni once again showed how swift he is behind the wickets when he stumped SRH captain Kane Williamson at a crucial stage of the match. With it, Dhoni surpassed Robin Uthappa as the wicketkeeper with the most number of stumpings in the IPL. After the match, Dhoni when also highlighted the fact that age is just a number and it's the fitness of a player which matters most.
