Malinga being the senior of the side started off plucking wickets as he bowled an amazing yorker to dismiss Tamim Iqbal. It was in the fifth ball of the first over when Tamim was handling the batting duties. The Yorker came very late on to the stumps and went past Iqbal’s bat crashing the leg stump. The Bangladesh stand-in skipper could not survive and had to be sent packing on a duck. The video of the Yorker went viral and social media and was further shared by many fans.

Malinga also snapped another wicket and Soumya Sarkar who was sent packing on the score of 15 runs. As of now, team Bangladesh is on the score of 41 with the loss of four wickets. Nuwaan Pradeep got one wicket and Lahiru Kumara snapped another wicket.
